Power brokers from Queensland, Victoria,
and New South Wales have designed a format for the pacers' series that will link the three until 2010 and possibly beyond.
Thanks to the foresight, drive and sponsorship of Queensland pioneer and
businessman Kevin Seymour, the states have pushed for and agreed upon an exciting format that has the potential to lift the misplaced series to the heights it so richly deserves.

ANY doubts over Blacks A Fake's status as Australasia's best pacer where quashed at Globe Derby last Saturday night.
Despite winning more than $1.5million, Blacks A Fake had a slight question mark
next to his name on where he stood among the sports greats.

and Victoria Cup, Blacks A Fake was in danger of being labelled a lucky leader.

TOP New South Wales pacer Karloo Mick will not contest next month's major races in Victoria.

Derby last Saturday night, the Barry Lew-trained campaigner will be restricted to several home state features.

not tempt him to make another interstate trip.

win, which has been installed as a prohibitive $1.50 favourite, is no good thing.
Amazing pacer Lombo Pocket Watch is the campaigner in question, with the
colt engaged in the second Alabar Victoria Derby heat at Shepparton on Saturday night.
Drawn the outside of the back row, Lombo Pocket Watch is facing his
toughest challenge against a solid field of youngsters. Even his trainer Paul Fitzpatrick harbours concerns about the task ahead.
